Director: Tom Bradford:
president@charlestonmoves.org
After a more than 25-year career in broadcast
news with CBS, Tom is a communications consultant
with his own company. A lifelong cycling enthusiast,
Tom has maintained an interest in the connection
between cycling and walking with good community
planning. He is a member of the League of American
Bicyclists, The Century Road Club Association,
Rails-to-Trails and the East Coast Greenway Alliance.
Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Board
for the Halsey Institute and a member of The Gibbes
Museum of Art.

Treasurer: Ceci Haborak treasurer@charlestonmoves.org
Ceci is a CPA and retired member of Gamble Givens
& Moody LLC where she served as Director of
Tax and Valuation Services. She is a member
of the League of American Bicyclists, the Rails-to-Trails
Conservancy and the East Coast Greenway Alliance.
Ceci enjoys bicycling with her husband George.

Cathy Nixon: Cathy Nixon was
born in NYC, where she attended Pratt Institute
and Bennett College and received her degree in
Design. Since moving to the Charleston area she
has been a business owner, co-managed the World
Cup of Golf and the Fed Cup for the US Tennis
Association at Kiawah Island Resort. She has been
active in the SC Aquarium and the Charleston Symphony
OrchestraLeague. She currently serves on the Sustainer
Board with The Junior League of Charleston.
Cathy received Charleston Metro Sports Council
achievement award (2007) as Sports Ambassador
of the Year. In 2007 she completed Paris-Brest-Paris
and was the recipient of the silver, bronze
for team U.S.A. at the International World Dragon
Boat Championships in Sydney, Australia.
Cathy is passionate about healthy choices and
the benefit of physical fitness and good nutrition.
She applauds livable and eco-friendly cities,
towns and communities that create alternative
modes of transportation which help promote healthy
lifestyles.

Vince Graham: Vince is
Founder and President of the I'On Group based
in Charleston, South Carolina. Vince moved to
the South Carolina Lowcountry in 1989. He founded
the traditional walking neighborhood of Newpoint
in 1991. Since that time he has participated in
building seven other neighborhoods including the
Village of Port Royal, Broad Street, I'On, Morris
Square, Hammonds Ferry, and Mixson in South Carolina;
and East Beach in Virginia. Vince serves on the
Board of Charleston Moves, the Coastal Conservation
League, East Cooper Planning Council, Lowcountry
Housing Trust, Riley Institute for Urban Affairs,
and Upstate Forever. He also serves on the Metropolitan
Leadership Council of the Brookings Institution,
is a South Carolina Liberty Fellow, and a member
of the Church of the Holy Cross. Vince is a passionate
advocate for advancing human-scaled urbanism,
and has spoken at architectural and planning symposiums
in Australia, Europe, and throughout the United
States. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Vince is
a 1986 graduate of Thomas Jefferson's wondrous
University of Virginia.

Robert Prioleau: Robert Prioleau
is a Founding Partner and the Strategy Director
for Blue Ion, an award-winning interactive marketing
company based in Charleston, SC. Robert leads
the companys Experience Design practice,
where he applies his 18-years of marketing experience
across a wide range of clients and industries.
Before launching Blue Ion, Robert honed his
skills at GSD&M Advertising in Austin, Fitzgerald
& Company Advertising in Atlanta, BellSouth.net
Internet Services in Atlanta, and Rawle-Murdy
Associates Advertising in Charleston, SC.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University with
a degree in Latin American history and received
a MBA in marketing from the University of Texas
at Austin. He currently serves as Chair of the
Trust for Public Lands South Carolina
Advisory Council, Strategic Advisor to New Carolinas
Creative Industries Cluster, and sits on the
boards of Charleston Moves and the Lowcountry
Housing Trust. Outside of work, youll
find Robert enjoying the great outdoors with
his family and dogs.

Don Sparks: Don is a
past president of Charleston Moves. He is a member
of the CHATS Standing Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory
Committee (the Charleston MPO's transportation
planning arm). He is an avid cyclist, having
ridden cross country with his wife Katherine on
their tandem in 1993. In addition, he has
cycled extensively in other parts of the world.
Currently, Don is Professor of International
Economics at the Citadel, and has served on the
academic board of directors of the University
of South Carolina ’s Center for Environmental
Policy. He is Vice President of the League
of American Bicyclists (and is a life member),
is a life member of Adventure Cyclists; a member
of the (Charleston) Coastal Cyclists, Association
of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals, and Congress
for the New Urbanism.

Peter Wilborn: Peter
is an attorney who founded SCBIKELAW.COM
and has represented injured cyclists and their
families. Peter is a member of Adventure Cycling,
The League of American Bicyclists, and the East
Coast Greenway Alliance. Peter is a former
officer of Charleston Bicycle Advocacy Group and
currently provides legal counsel to the board
of Charleston Moves. He is a life-long and
year-round bicycle commuter and recreational rider
and draws inspiration from his time living and
cycling in Europe.

Lenny Greene:
Lenny is a consulting engineer licensed in SC,
GA, FL, AL, & NC. He is a member of
Charleston Rotary Club, BCDCOG Transportation
Enhancements committee and was vice-president
of Charleston Bicycle Advocacy Group. Lenny
has been an active cyclist for thirty years including
commuting to work in California and relying on
his bicycle as primary transportation while living
oversees in three countries. His business,
Orbital Engineering is a corporate sponsor of
the Low Country Open Land Trust rides and Charleston
Cycle Fest. Lenny has worked on projects
to provide bicycle lanes and pedestrian/bicycle
accommodations for bridge replacement projects.
He is a member of the Coastal Cyclists and
volunteers for Festavelo.

Charles Fox: Charles
works in retail and sales at Fox music, a family
business. Charles is a member of the League
of American Bicyclists, Transportation Alternatives,
and a number of regional Cycling Clubs. He
is a lifetime member of the Palmetto Cycling Coalition
and has served on their board. He had been
ride director for the Rural Ride Round the Islands
and most Festivelo de Charleston , South Carolina
's largest cycling event in December 2004, and
most recently for Charleston Cycle Fest 2005.
Charles has cycled across the U.S. and has served
as a past president for the Coastal Cyclists.
He currently serves on the board of First
Night Charleston, Creative Sparks, and the Coastal
Cyclists.

Pat Ilderton: Pat Ilderton
is a Sullivan’s Island resident and owner
of Ilderton Construction. Pat chairs the
Sullivan’s Island Design Review Board. He
also sits on the steering committee for the East
Cooper Planning Council, the board of East Cooper
Community Outreach and Taylor Music. Pat
is known locally for being a sustainability minded
conservation developer. Among his most notable
projects is the New Village in Mt. Pleasant where
he combined his values of energy conservation,
newer ideas in architecture and new urbanist principles
to create a conservation-oriented development
project that has labeled him a visionary.

Alyssondra Campaigne: Alyssondra
Campaigne is a Principal at Engage Strategies,
a policy, strategy and communications firm specializing
in environmental and energy issues. Previously
she was Vice President for Strategy and Marketing
at the IOn Group, a New Urban development
firm in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Alys moved to Charleston after spending a decade
in Washington, DC helping to create and lead
the External Affairs department of the Center
for American Progress, working as Legislative
Director for the Natural Resources Defense Council,
and as a Legislative Aide in the U.S. House
and Senate. She is passionate about expanding
mobility choices as a means to address climate
change, foster community, and improve public
health.

Thomas Ucciferri: Thomas
has enjoyed living in Charleston for over two
years. He and his family relocated here from Brooklyn,
NY where he spent 25 years in the television and
video production industry.
A long-time recreational and commuter cyclist
in New York, Thomas was surprised by the challenges
that cyclists and pedestrians face here. He was
encouraged to learn of the efforts of Charleston
Moves to effect change in that regard.
Thomas is the proprietor of Bike the Bridge Rentals
(which has helped hundreds of tourists and locals
keep their cars off the streets by renting bikes),
and an active owner, manager, and broker of investment
real estate in Charleston and elsewhere.

Barry Hainer: Barry Hainer
is a family physician and serves as Professor
of Family Medicine at the Medical University of
South Carolina. Over the past 25 years of seeing
patients and teaching medical students he has
helped train over 300 family physicians.
An avid recreational cyclist, Barry has cycled
in the U.S, Canada and western Europe.
Barry sees part of the solution to our fundamental
public health issue of obesity the need for for
safe means to walk and bike to places in our communities.
Barry also serves as a member of the City of Charleston
Bicyle/Pedestrian Committee.

Jeff Davis: William J. Davis
is an associate professor in Civil & Environmental
Engineering at The Citadel. He is a profession
engineer with twenty-five years of experience
in the planning, development and design of transportation
engineering projects. His technical and service
activities have included serving on numerous national
committees focusing on a variety of bicycle, pedestrian
and traffic calming issues. His research and consulting
projects include development of transportation
master plans, bicycle facility design and creation
of built environments to support active living
by design.
Other professional experience has focused
in the areas of traffic engineering, transportation
planning, highway design, environmental assessment
and infrastructure design.
